Eichsfeld Forum

Florenz (Lawrence) Lorenze Vondra was born 14 April 1825 in Strubtkries Muhlhausen. I know nothing of his parents. According to an immigration record on Ancestry.com, Lorenz migrated from Obereichsfeld to America in 1858. Does anyone know anything about the Vondra family? I would appreciate any help.

I've in my database some "Vontran" from Struth/Eichsfeld but a littlebit before your Lorenz.
Perhaps this is the right surname and you find connection to them one day.

Parents:
Johann Vondran oo Maria Anna Richardt (It seems, that they haven´t married in Struth)

I have found only one other Child of this couple in Struth:
Anna Catharina Vondran *21.12.1834 Struth (godfather: Catharina Köthe, daughter of Lorenz Köthe)

Both families are detectable in Struth since middle of 17.Century. But without the place of wedding, I think, there is no chance to attach the ancestors.
